13 year old Fred Wright was last seen at his home on the night of December 6, 1998. He was last seen by an adult male who was in the home. This man was the main suspect in Fred's disappearance, unfortunately the suspect in Fred's disappearance has since been deceased. His case is cold and there are very few clues in his case. This man who ws the main suspect,  has to have family and friends out there who saw something or know something. Hopefully now that he is deceased they will do the right thing and come forward with any information that could help solve this case. Someone out there knows something and any information could be the clue the police need to bring closure to this family after all these years. If you or anyone you know have any information regarding Fred Wright's disappearance and possible kidnapping or homicide, contact the police and help bring Fred home to his family where he belongs.

Mystery Still After 90 Years

Catherine Winters It has been 90 years since Catherine Winters disappeared, about noon on a sunny spring day in the middle of New Castle. People still are wondering how the bright 9-year-old daughter of prominent dentist W. A. Winters could have vanished, as one private detective said, "as if the earth had opened and swallowed her up." Catherine, and her 7-year-old brother, Frankie, were out of school on March 20, 1913 because of a measles outbreak. The girl left home, 311 N. 16th St., about 9 a.m. that day to sell packages of noodles for a charity - and get some spending money for herself - and play with some friends. Her father and stepmother, Byrd (Ritter) Winters, had told Catherine to be home for lunch promptly at 11 a.m. Dan Monroe, a family friend, said he saw Catherine walking in the 1100 block of Broad Street about 11:45 a.m. He was presumed to be the last person who saw her before she disappeared. But investigator Robert H. Abel said he later found

Brenda Snouffer

Brenda Starr Stouffer     Brenda was involved in a bitter divorce from her husband, Scott Irvine Snouffer in 1995. She was preparing to testify as a witness against him and his brother, Stuart B. Snouffer, in an automobile theft trial scheduled to begin later in the year. Brenda had informed authorities that Scott and Stuart were running a "chop shop," which dismantles stolen cars so their parts can be sold. Brenda and Scott were also embroiled in a custody battle over their six-year-old daughter, Mariel. Brenda stated she was afraid of Scott and that he had threatened her. On the very day she disappeared, someone mailed threatening letters to her home and also to the home of a friend in Ohio.  Brenda dropped Mariel off at Highland Lakes Elementary School in Palm Harbor, Florida at approximately 9:15 a.m. on April 2, 1995. She was driving her turquoise blue 1993 Mazda Protege with Florida license plates numbered LEA14U. Brenda never returned to pick up her daught
