Fred Wright Image at age of disappearance and photo Age Progressed to 32 (2017) courtesy The Charley Project 13 year old Fred Wright was last seen at his home on  the night of December 6, 1998. He was last seen by an adult male who was in the home. This man was the main suspect in Fred's disappearance, unfortunately the s uspect in Fred's disappearance has since been deceased. His case is cold and there are very few clues in his case. This man who ws the main suspect,  has to have family and friends out there who saw something or know something. Hopefully now that he is deceased they will do the right thing and come forward with any information that could help solve this case. Someone out there knows something and any information could be the clue the police need to bring closure to this family after all these years. Brian Shaffer- Strange Disapearance

Brian Shaffer Brian Shaffer born February 25, 1979, was a medical student at  The Ohio State University . On the night of March 31, 2006, he went out with friends to celebrate the beginning of  spring break ; later he was separated from them and they assumed he had gone home. However, a  security camera  near the entrance to a bar recorded him briefly talking to two women just before 2 a.m., April 1, and then apparently re-entering the bar. He has not been seen or heard from since. The case has received national media attention. Shaffer's disappearance has been particularly puzzling to investigators since there was no other publicly accessible entrance to the bar at that time.  Columbus  police have several theories as to what happened;    some interest and suspicion has been directed at a friend of Shaffer's who accompanied him that night but has declined to take  lie detector  tests related to the incident.    While foul play has been suspected, including the possibl

Mystery Still After 90 Years

Catherine Winters It has been 90 years since Catherine Winters disappeared, about noon on a sunny spring day in the middle of New Castle. People still are wondering how the bright 9-year-old daughter of prominent dentist W. A. Winters could have vanished, as one private detective said, "as if the earth had opened and swallowed her up." Catherine, and her 7-year-old brother, Frankie, were out of school on March 20, 1913 because of a measles outbreak. The girl left home, 311 N. 16th St., about 9 a.m. that day to sell packages of noodles for a charity - and get some spending money for herself - and play with some friends. Her father and stepmother, Byrd (Ritter) Winters, had told Catherine to be home for lunch promptly at 11 a.m. Dan Monroe, a family friend, said he saw Catherine walking in the 1100 block of Broad Street about 11:45 a.m. He was presumed to be the last person who saw her before she disappeared. But investigator Robert H. Abel said he later found

3 Girls Go Missing While Shopping in Fort Worth, Never Seen Again

Three friends in Fort. Worth Texas go shopping and never return.                        Rachel Arnold Trlica, 17, picked up her friend Renee Wilson, 14, and when little Julie Ann Moseley, who lived across the street from Renee's grandmother, begged to go along, the older girls said she'd have to get permission. Julie Ann was only 9 that morning and simply didn't want to spend the day alone. She persuaded her mother to let her go. The mystery surrounding their disappearance continues to confound law enforcement officials while it haunts and tangles the lives of all the families involved. For some, time stopped that December day. For others, the tragedy created a seedbed of suspicion that now divides a sister from a brother and a mother from a son. It is a chasm no bridge can span, a riddle with no answers; it is a constant grieving. Just after the disappearance, the families walked creek beds and country roads looking for their missing

Missing in Florida Kelly Lundy Rothwell

Kelly Lundy Rothwell Kelly Rothwell has been missing since March 12th, 2011. Rothwell was last seen driving away from the Chili’s Restaurant at approximately 3:38 pm. Rothwell had lunch with a friend and advised she was going home to 2708 Gulf Blvd #201 on Indian Rocks Beach where she planned on telling her boyfriend, David Robert Perry, W/M, 04/08/64, that she was ending their relationship and moving out. Rothwell had plans to meet up with friends later that evening but never showed. Rothwell’s vehicle, a 2007 Green Subaru Outback, was found parked at 2nd St and 4th Ave in Indian Rocks Beach on the same day. Rothwell has not had contact with anyone since that date and her boyfriend, Robert Perry, left for New York that same night and has refused to cooperate with law enforcement.

Brenda Snouffer

Brenda Starr Stouffer     Brenda was involved in a bitter divorce from her husband, Scott Irvine Snouffer in 1995. She was preparing to testify as a witness against him and his brother, Stuart B. Snouffer, in an automobile theft trial scheduled to begin later in the year. Brenda had informed authorities that Scott and Stuart were running a "chop shop," which dismantles stolen cars so their parts can be sold. Brenda and Scott were also embroiled in a custody battle over their six-year-old daughter, Mariel. Brenda stated she was afraid of Scott and that he had threatened her. On the very day she disappeared, someone mailed threatening letters to her home and also to the home of a friend in Ohio.  Brenda dropped Mariel off at Highland Lakes Elementary School in Palm Harbor, Florida at approximately 9:15 a.m. on April 2, 1995. She was driving her turquoise blue 1993 Mazda Protege with Florida license plates numbered LEA14U. Brenda never returned to pick up her daught

Madison Scott

Madison Scott Madison and a female friend went to Hogsback Lake with the intention the girls would both camp out together overnight, along with some others friends. The party was originally going to be a small group of friends, but it appears there were around 150 people ended up at the party Friday night.  Most of the people there were from 18-25, there were even a few much older party goers in their 40's hanging out at a high school party. Almost everyone at the party that night was from the Vanderhoof area. Madison's friend who was suppose to stay overnight in the tent with her left the party with her boyfriend sometime between 12-2:30 a.m. which to me seems like a vague answer. You're in high school and you don't know if you left at midnight or 2:30 a.m. Just seems strange to me.  So Madison was left with a dwindling crowd of older people she didn't know. She was left there with her tent to camp alone. I'm sure if there was a predator there tha

Mistie Nicole Murray

Mistie Nicole Murray Murray was last seen leaving her school on May 31, 1995. She was seen at school that day attending classes and visiting the nurse. Mistie left behind a packed suitcase and, on her dresser $200 and dozens of photos, the prelude of what was supposed to have been a trip to Halifax to meet the family of the woman who had given her up for adoption when she was two. Between 14:30  and 15.00 that day, Mistie placed a phone call from her high school to the elementary school where her mother taught. But she didn't leave a message. That was the last known time Mistie would be known to try to communicate with her parents. The day after Mistie was last reported seen at home, a friend spoke to her in the Bargain Shop in Goderich. Three teenagers who knew Mistie told police they thought they saw her walking the next day, June 2, along Highway 8 from Goderich to Clinton. And another teen, a member of the same marching band as Mistie, said she spotted her in the cro

Strange Dissapearance Asha Kreimer

Asha Kreimer                                         Twenty-six-year-old Asha Kreimer, who held  dual  US-Australian citizenship  had been living with her boyfriend in  Albion, California , for three years when she suffered a mental health crisis. After being awake for four nights and shouting incoherently, she was taken to Mendocino Coast District Hospital in Fort Bragg California  on September 20, 2015.  Mendocino County 's privatized mental health service, evaluated her under  California Code 5150  to determine whether she was a risk to herself or others.  However, Kreimer was so resistant to having her vital signs taken that the Fort Bragg Police Department was called. In the end, Kreimer was released to her boyfriend and a visiting Australian childhood friend.  After Kreimer's release, the trio then drove south toward   Point Arena , stopping at the Rollerville Cafe in   Flumeville . At 9:30 a.m., while they were in the cafe, Kre

Introduction

Hello, I am Amber. I am making this blog to discuss particular cases of missing people. Many of these people have disappeared under strange or unusual circumstances, and in many cases the police either refused to take them seriously, or by the time they realized they were in fact missing valuable time and evidence had been lost. Witnesses were gone. My hope is to bring awareness to these cases and hopefully someone out there knows something or heard or saw something that can bring the families of the missing some kind of closure. I will also look at cases of mass disapearances, such as the hundreds that go missing  in our national parks every year.
